New Village Arts creates adventurous artistic experiences to awaken the human spirit.

The New Village Arts Board of Directors is a group of committed individuals who recognize the importance of the arts in a healthy community.

The Board meets monthly, 10 times per year, on the fourth Wednesday of the month between 5:30 and 7:00pm, with committee meetings held at various times throughout the year.

Board Member Expectations:
Purchase Show Subscription Series (preferably Opening Night) (approx. $135 – $270 per sub)
Purchase tickets to annual gala ($150 ticket)
Work to fill a table (10 seats) ($1,350 table)
Make a meaningful personal annual contribution
Attend and participate in board meetings

Oversee financial management

Evaluate itself (every two to three years)
Ensure Necessary Resources
Hire, oversee and support executive leadership
Ensure adequate financial resources
Enhance the organization’s public standing and advocate for the mission
Ensure the presence of a capable and responsible board
