Website Rock n' Roll Camp for Girls San Diego

Rock n’ Roll Camp for Girls San Diego is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that brings the community together to empower girls and non-binary youth through music education.

Rock n’ Roll Camp for Girls San Diego is seeking individuals who share our passion for empowering girls, non-binary and transgender youth ages 8-17 through music education. While we use music as the “instrument” to empower future leaders, we’re more than a music program. Our successful summer camp Gxrls Rock! SD programs and culture also provides workshops such as Image and Identity, Creative Expression through Arts, Community Impact Projects, and Songwriting for Social Change. Our intention is to create a space for youth to create, collaborate, take up space and see what is possible in the music industry and beyond.

As we learn and grow to meet the needs of San Diego youth, we’re searching for different perspectives and skills that connect us to our young rockers and the communities we serve. We’re currently seeking board members to join our unique, fun and diverse vision for our future programming. Members meet four times a year (January, April, September and November), share connections, join committees (programming, fundraising, marketing, scholarship outreach, volunteers) participate in program development and bring their world experience to the team. Musical experience is a plus but not mandatory.

This is perfect for someone who can contribute their time and skills a few hours a month and wants to work with a powerful team to empower youth creatively through music education.
