🧾 Rose Fulfillment – Board Member Position Description
About Us:
Rose Fulfillment is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization based in San Diego, California. Our mission is to support single-parent families and elderly individuals facing homelessness by providing housing assistance, job training, childcare, mental health resources, financial literacy, and transportation support. Founded by individuals with lived experience, our work is rooted in compassion, equity, and long-term impact.

💼 Board Member Responsibilities
As a board member, you will help guide the mission, strategy, and sustainability of Rose Fulfillment. Your main duties will include:

Attending quarterly board meetings (virtual or in person)
Supporting fundraising efforts and making a personal contribution (any amount)
Providing oversight of programs, finances, and legal compliance
Serving as an ambassador of the organization within your network
Participating in at least one area (e.g., community outreach, finance, grantwriting, mental health, legal, etc.)

📅 Time Commitment
2-year renewable term
~4 board meetings/year (1–2 hours each)
Occasional committee meetings or events

✅ Ideal Candidates
We welcome professionals, community leaders, and individuals with lived or professional experience in:

Nonprofit management
Mental health, housing, or social services
Fundraising, marketing, or grant writing
Finance, law, or governance
Lived experience with housing insecurity or caregiving
No prior board experience is required.

San Diego County (hybrid/remote-friendly)
