Damians Ladder is a nonprofit organization committed to enabling seniors and people with disabilities to remain safe and comfortable in their own homes by providing small, essential home repairs and modifications at low- or no-cost. We envision a community where older adults can age in place in a stable, secure living environment with dignity and independence. Our mission supports the wellbeing of vulnerable community members.
We are a nonprofit that provides small home repairs for Seniors and people with disabilities in Santa Cruz County. We have been active for over two years. We have good funding and are developing an excellent reputation for service. We need Board Members with both nonprofit and commercial sector experience in Finance, Fundraising, Operations Management, Community Outreach and Donor Development and Management. This is an unpaid Board Role, however it is not an Advisory role. Board Members are involved in the operation of the organization . Time commitment is dependent on the work you commit to doing for the organization. Board meetings are held on alternate months. An Executive Committee manages day to day operations. This is a great way to give back to the community by helping Seniors stay safe in their homes.
