Thank you for your interest in serving on the Board of Directors of Strength In Service, Inc. We are a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing mental health services to military families while creating meaningful employment pathways for military spouse clinicians.

Our Mission:
At Strength in Service, our mission is to cultivate culturally competent social workers and enhance the quality of life for active-duty service members, veterans, military spouses, and their families. By promoting mental health support, career opportunities, and fostering social health and belonging, we empower military families to grow stronger and thrive.

Our Vision:
Our vision is to build socially connected communities through innovative programs that promote social health, emotional resilience, and antifragility. We aim to create safe spaces where military families can find belonging, develop emotional strength, and prevent the mental health challenges that lead to suicide.
Serving on our board is a hands-on, collaborative commitment. We are looking for individuals who share our values, bring complementary skills, and are ready to show up as engaged partners — not just in name, but in action.
