Our current programs primarily support women affected by breast cancer, while our broader mission embraces the many experiences that shape women’s lives.

Director of Development & Fundraising

  • The Director of Development & Fundraising helps build sustainable financial support for Womanity Portrait Foundation and its programs.
  • This board member leads the development of fundraising strategies, donor engagement, sponsorship opportunities, grant support, and community fundraising campaigns. The role includes helping establish annual fundraising goals, identifying potential donors and funders, strengthening donor relationships, and supporting the creation of compelling sponsorship and fundraising materials.
  • The Director may also help develop earned-income opportunities that support the organization’s mission and reduce its dependence on grants alone.
  • The ideal candidate has experience in fundraising, philanthropy, nonprofit development, sales, business strategy, grant development, or donor relations. The strongest candidate will be comfortable building relationships and introducing the organization to potential supporters.

Womanity Portrait Foundation is seeking committed board members who believe in the power of art, portrait photography, and community connection to support women affected by breast cancer.

Our board members help guide the organization’s growth, strengthen its programs, build community relationships, and secure the resources needed to expand our impact. We are looking for people who bring professional experience, thoughtful leadership, and a genuine commitment to our mission.

Board members are expected to participate in board meetings, support fundraising and outreach efforts, serve on at least one committee, and contribute approximately 8 hours per month.
